The 2023 DataSHIELD Conference will take place in person at NH Groningen, Netherlands. The programme will include a mix of talks, demonstrations and discussion sessions relating to the development and use of the DataSHIELD software.

This conference is suitable for anyone interested in using or applying the DataSHIELD software. In particular:

• those that are unfamiliar with DataSHIELD, or that may have a new application for DataSHIELD
• current users and applications of DataSHIELD
• those developing new statistical methodology, functionality or infrastructure for DataSHIELD.

This year we feature specialist sessions on machine learning and omics in the programme, and we encourage abstract submissions in these areas. 

DataSHIELD Beginners' workshop

We are also hosting an optional training workshop for new/beginner users of DataSHIELD. The workshop will take place 09:00-12:30 11th October 2023 at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) near the conference venue.

Conference registration: €250 + VAT per person (inclusive of conference dinner)
Optional training workshop: €50 + VAT per person
